Continuous Improvement Manager

Under the direction of Operations Management, the Continuous Improvement Manager will provide strategic leadership for cost improvement and efficiency strategies within a high performance plant/facility. The Continuous Improvement Manager will envision, form, lead and advise projects to achieve facility and corporate goals for cost savings. This position will be responsible for Project Management reporting on all Continuous Improvement progress and will serve as a general spokesman for any groups or projects related to Continuous Improvement.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and administration of cross-functional teams tasked with identifying projects for cost reduction, cost avoidance, productivity improvement, and process improvement;
Drive integration of cost improvement activities into the way all functional employees conduct their activities in order to obtain cost avoidance, cost savings and productivity improvements;
Sharing and reapplying best practices in the areas of resources, tools and expertise relating to process improvement/cost avoidance/cost reduction initiatives;
Creation and delivery of a comprehensive Continuous Improvement scorecard;
Coordinates and/or executes specific skill training for management teams in cooperation with HR;
Responsible for developing and certifying technical skills required at plant level (both at leadership level and operations teams);
Works closely with Operations Management and Human Resources to establish a team culture with special emphasis towards a Continuous Improvement Culture. Supports team-building activities of process teams;
Continuously challenges the status quo;
Develops a Continuous Improvement roadmap/master plan annually for the entire facility and provides assistance for the execution (facilitation, coordination, visualization, communication, celebration) of that plan;
Organizes quarterly meetings with all plant functions to share Continuous Improvement status, define next steps in order to raise the performance bar, review plans to deliver sustainable productivity, and develop plans to drive towards a Continuous Improvement plant culture.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field;
A minimum of 5 years' experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives in a food manufacturing facility;
Proven project management skills, with the ability to participate in initiatives according to business needs and strategy;
Demonstrated ability building and sustaining relationships at all levels required, promoting a high performance organization;
Proven ability to resolve problems by applying technical experience and expertise to review precedents, identify potential solutions and select the best and most viable course of action;
Strong cross-functional strategic leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to translate strategy into actionable information in small or large groups in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Ability to influence upwards;
Proven ability to lead others in problem-solving and root cause analysis;
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to support the needs of a multi shift operation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
