Kent Nutrition Group (KNG) a member of the KENT Corporation family of companies is looking for a Territory Sales Representative (TSR) to join our team in Ohio! The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) is a field position working out of a home office/dealership to perform their duties covering the assigned territory.
PRIMARY DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Utilize disciplined account management and team selling strategies to manage assigned accounts and stimulate additional revenue and customer growthDevelop, manage, and execute a business plan for Kent products within the dealer (Jackson Ag) Southeast Ohio sales area60% of the time would be spent on existing customers and 40% will be on prospectingAdminister, and maintain account business plans inclusive of distribution, advertising, promotions, and nutritionTake an active leadership role at Trade and Consumer events serving as an advocate for the Kent company and brandsAcquire consistent customer input to monitor forecasts and build long-range plansIdentify new revenue opportunities via continued account penetration and nutritional expertiseCoordinate and execute quality customer relationships including frequent customer presentations, communications and feedbackManage the internal customer support mechanism through frequent review sessions with Territory Sales Manager and Jackson Ag staffManage account profitability to meet and exceed department objective achievements for revenue, margins, market share and account executionWeekly use of CRM to communicate all account activityDaily/Weekly communication with TSM/RSMMonthly Expense reconciliationEDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or Ag related degree or combination of some college and relevant work experience requiredEXPERIENCE &
Qualifications:
1-3 years of outside sales management experience preferred with emphasis on local/regional accountsProven selling, prospecting, and territory management experience in an animal science or agribusiness fieldExperience in sales of animal feed products preferredEffective use of computer technology including Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to drive to customer facilities, and physically be capable of inspecting animal production facilitiesEducation and experience with animal nutrition requiredTRAVEL:
Daily travel is requiredSalary:
$63 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
